Assuming you have the basic navy, black, grey, brown suits, shirts, jeans, chinos, white shirts and shoes to match, then you can start thinking of what accessories to wear with them. Usually, a watch and a belt that (usually again) match your shoes are enough. However, as the old adage goes, “God is in the details”. People with a certain level of good taste often notice the details.

Levelling-up in terms of accessorising is easier for men because we don’t have to wear much. If you don’t want to go beyond the watch and belt, make sure they are of high quality, the best that you can afford. Shoes are usually connected to the belt, because more often than not, they have to match.  So, have a “good” quality pair of shoes with a belt to match, and a classic, superb quality watch.  You can stop at Rolex.  But if you can’t afford one, start with a Tag Heuer or a Philip Stein.  Still too much for your budget? Buy a classic,  with minimalist design TIMEX and wear it with an attitude! (Finger snap!) For shoes, usually the high-end branded ones also sell belts to match, like Ferragamo.  I love Tods, Bottega and Ermenegildo Zegna, but again, if those brands will have you starving ’til the next payday, start with Zara (they usually have knock-offs (sorta) or inspired by this famous designer brand items).

Going back to levelling-up. Accessories for men are the following: bracelets, necklace, rings, ear rings (no please!), cuff links, tie clip, eye/sun glasses, cap, hat, boutonniere, pocket square. If you live in a country with 4 seasons; scarf, gloves, ear muffs, beanie … did I miss anything? Oh yes, the nipple ring.  Kidding.

A word of caution. Less is more. If you want to wear a ring or a necklace, NEVER have them with diamonds because they really are associated with girls jewelry. That applies to watches as well (ugh!). You know what i mean? Also, if you wear a bracelet, I suggest don’t wear a ring (unless you’re married). If you wear a visible necklace (make the chain as thin as possible), you can forego the bracelet.  So, add here, remove there. LESS IS MORE!

En Pierre in English means “In carved stone”.  They make men’s bracelets using precious stones with occasional wood, metal, and crystal that are supposed to be functional and fashionable as well. According to ancient beliefs, precious stones balance the body’s energies. They send out vibrations (to which we humans are naturally receptive to) as they transmit positive energy, reflect light and deflect negative energy.  When these stones are placed  directly on your body, it claims to have a powerful vibratory effect that surges physical, emotional and mental benefits. Cool!

Here are some cult favorites:

Black Obsidian, Lapis Lazuli, Sansa Silver Beads, and Hamsa | 8mm

Black Obsidian helps to clean and remove negative energies and assists in releasing emotions that cause negative energy such as anger, fear, jealousy and greed.

Lapis Lazuli provides wisdom and connects you to your spiritual guardians, shielding you from negative energy and returning any negative vibrations back to their source.

Sansa Silver Beads are high quality silver overlaid beads imported from India.

The Hamsa is believed to be an image that provides defense against the evil eye.

Attracting strength, courage, wealth, and abundance, their very first design, STEPHANUS, is a combination of 10mm Basalt and a 10mm Tiger Eye.

Black Onyx, Tiger Eye, and Jaqen Gold Beads | 8mm

Black Onyx assists with melancholy, the release of negativity and depression. It helps to calm your fears, leaving you feeling stable and secure.

Tiger Eye brings good luck, abundance, and prosperity to its wearer. In many ancient civilizations, it was used as a talisman against bad luck and curses.

Jaqen Gold Beads are gold overlaid beads imported from India.

Garnet and Basalt | 10mm

Garnets are recognized to have the ability to heal and intensify relationships. Basalt (lava rock) is a stone of strength and courage.

Lapis Lazuli and Oriental Bead | 8mm

Lapis Lazuli provides wisdom and connects you to your spiritual guardians, shielding you from negative energy and returning any negative vibrations back to their source.

As you can see, these bracelets aren’t expensive at all.  For that price, you get the health benefits and be confidently handsome, with a heart? Give me all of it!

Mind you, don’t mind me (snicker), they deliver worldwide. Again, always remember, less is more. Wear two bracelets at most, three is…forgivable, no diamonds, add here, remove there. Don’t buy FAKE! It’s better to have an unbranded, affordable accessory than a fake one. Just imagine how it feels to wear fake.  Can’t stand it. Accessories are optional but if it adds “oomph” to your look, then what are you waiting for?
